A life for a skill and a skill for a living.....

When it comes to the story of Valledislo Shipelman, it's actually a true story. He died in 2000, and the last man to save him, William Hosenfeld, died in a Russian POW camp in 1952.

Valle is a pianist, playing the piano all his life. Before the war, he was enjoying the joy that the piano brought him, and when the war was about to end, he still danced freely when the stiff hands of the piano touched the piano. The saddest thing is that when he lived in the center of the war, he didn't dare to make a sound with his hands, but he was not sad, because a musical talisman sounded in his heart.

Valle was a pianist who had several near misses in his life. He was not sent to a concentration camp, he escaped from the ghetto. The whip in the ghetto did not knock him down, nor did his family's incarnation in a concentration camp deprive him of the courage to live. Several times I have lived on the sofa, the fireplace, the bed, and I have eaten potatoes, bread, wine, and stale water with loot. The most fragrant food he has ever eaten is the jam, bread, and canned food given to him by the German officers. The most dangerous is the appearance of the German Admiral Wilhelm, and the most heart-warming is the large piece of bread given to him by the German Admiral Wilhelm. And a military uniform. The uniform that nearly killed him warmed the rest of his life.

The flight started because he was Jewish. Race has made them suffer, war has blinded people, lost their conscience, and numbed their souls. There is no distinction between people, animals, men, women and children. Bullets and whips are like garbage in their hands, and they can be thrown away.

Do you still want to listen to songs that have love, hate and heart-warming in your heart? Still want to know the most love story?

A war is a different life. The cruelest thing is not that there is no food, but that there is no love in people's hearts. Seeing people of different races yelling, as if different races can eat people. More love, more courage, more tolerance, more conscience!

I cried at the last point

Even though Valle Shipelmann had extraordinary musical talents, in Europe during World War II, as a Jew, he was still inevitably subjected to relentless persecution by German Nazis. "The Pianist", after "Schindler's List", let me cry again for this dark history! —— 2013.11.07 China Film Archive (Art Cinema): As soon as the ticket was bought at the archive for the first time, it just started to check the ticket and became the first spectator to enter the venue. (The status of the powerful circle of friends later knew that she also went to watch the "The Pianist".) The tears that had been hoarding for nearly half a month burst out because of the movie that was revisited in the archive at night. Especially in the passage "Spearman plays the piano under the order of the German military officer", I was sobbed and even sobbed quietly when I saw it!

The Pianist quotes

  • Feather Woman: Excuse me, have you seen my husband, Izaak Szerman? A tall, a tall handsome man, with a little grey beard. No? Oh, excuse me. Goodbye, sleep well. But if you see him, write to me, yes? Izaak Szerman!

  • Man Waiting to Cross: And the Germans claim to be intelligent! You know what I think, I think they are totally stupid. I have a family to feed. I spend half my time here, waiting for them to let us through. Why do they think I come here, to listen to the music?
