The film mainly describes a refugee camp in Rio de Janeiro, presented to everyone through a young man named A Pao, who later became a photojournalist. It was a poor, chaotic world, full of violence, crime, drugs. The film chooses the gang as a level to express the chaos there. It tells about the replacement of the three gang eras, and the area is farther away from the world than the area. The first is the area of Ah Pao's brother, known as the Three Young Heroes. They are not yet adults, but robberies are commonplace for them. The leader of the area after that was a man nicknamed Xiaobawang, who was the younger brother of the leader of the three young heroes. He has a tendency to murder since he was a child, and after becoming the most powerful boss of God, he is even more committed. Not even children are spared. His gang fought another very powerful gang in the refugee camp, which lasted for a long time, to the point of chaos. Ah Pao once said, "We seem to be living in the Vietnam War." Under the long-term rivalry between the two gangs, the refugee camp was divided into two, and two gangs occupied each. In the final battle, both sides suffered. Finally, all the money was used to bribe the police to get a way out. After he was released, a group of children gathered. They were all members of his gang, all eleven or twelve years old, and some were only seven or eight years old. The little bully told them that we were going to develop new forces, but they didn't expect this group of children to raise their guns and beat him to death. Looking at the little bully who fell in a pool of blood, the group of children shouted, "The sky has changed, it's our turn to decide." At the end of the film, a group of children are discussing to make a blacklist, intending to eradicate other forces. A group of ten-year-old children, with guns in their hands, discussed killing, robbery, and turf every day. What a horrible world this is!

There is no obvious protagonist in this film, but there are obvious plot lines. I think this film has two plot lines, one is from the perspective of Ah Pao, looking at the history of this refugee camp, it is a very stable perspective. There's another seemingly messy plot line attached to the first plot line, which, by comparison, is like a curve that guides people to see different people, different experiences, depending on how the story goes. It makes the film richer and more flexible.
Finally, looking at the backs of those children, the film ends. I seem to realize that for those children, killing, robbing, and turf is just their childhood games, and guns are just their toys. For them, killing two people versus killing one is winning or losing the game. rather than committing a heinous crime. The life ties and values they have are completely opposite to the normal world. Normal social norms and morals are about to disappear in that world. How horrible, how absurd it is! I can't help but wonder how people can fall to such a level. Suddenly I shuddered, and I understood, it turned out that the crimes we committed were not the most terrible, the more terrible thing was that we didn't think what we did was wrong, and the more terrible thing was that in the face of such a big social problems, the laissez-faire and disregard of the government and others.
