long goodbyes and tears

One has to be true to oneself, Joy, not to go against one's own nature.

It's hard to live with killing, there's no way out.

Whether it is right or wrong, you have to bear it for the rest of your life.

Go back to your mother now and tell her everything is fine.

There will be no more gunfire in the valley.

If you've also watched "Wolverine 3", it's impossible not to remember this line.

This line of loneliness and strength comes from the 1953 release of "The Wild Man," a dirge-style western.

Once upon a time there was a silent valley in which the Starrets lived. One day, the boy Joey was hunting a deer in the swamp in front of the door, when a stranger on horseback came from a distance.

The stranger's name is Sean.

Joe Starrett and his wife, like other homesteaders, migrated to the valley, built a house in a lush location, plowed out fields, fenced and built their homes. However, the bully Rick thinks the Joes have invaded his ranch.

Sean helps Joe drive away the domineering Rick and is welcomed by the host couple and young Joey. Sean took off his denim attire and went to work on the farm.

In the end, Lake refused to give up, and invited the killer Wilson to drive away the Joe family. Shawn, who wanted to live a quiet life, had to continue killing people in the end. He went to the pub instead of Joe and killed Lake and Wilson.

In the end, the wounded Sean chose to leave, leaving only the boy Joey calling out to the wilderness: "Come back, Sean!" The

lonely hero Sean turned around and continued on the unknown road, although he always wanted to get rid of his dark past, The same goes for Logan. He and Professor X have been looking for a truly stable life, but like Sean in The Wilderness, he tried and failed. Past experiences still haunt the superhero, and in Wolverine 3, he's getting old. In this movie, he is no longer called Wolverine, but called back his real name - Logan.

In the 2015 comics, Logan was already dead. He was finally filled with Edman alloy and suffocated to death. And X-23 succeeded him as the brand new Wolverine.

Hugh. Jackman said, this is a farewell to the audience. After all, 17 years of long-term training in fitness and binge eating of protein, he has paid enough for the role of Wolverine, and he is 47 years old.

"Wolverine 3" is no longer like a hero movie. It's a tribute to "The Wild Man", even if the hero is late, the tone is gray and gloomy, although there are many young children in the movie.
The world has entered an era of soap bubble disillusionment. The audience is no longer naive. In reality, superheroes will suffer and grow old, and face the life of ordinary people like a quagmire.

No wonder this film has a 93% Rotten Tomatoes index, no wonder almost everyone who goes to the cinema is crying, and my scarf is full of tears and snot.

The emotional pattern of human beings is probably like this, the hero is full of tears, the Loser counterattack is popular, and the strong end is bleak, everyone feels unbearable, pokes the heart, and pierces the lungs. This feeling is probably similar to the moment in adulthood when you see your forever tall father suddenly grow old.

Then Professor X blessed Logan with loving eyes throughout.

Maybe through the middle-aged, Logan, maybe you'll be fine. Will open up God's perspective like Professor X Charles did. No matter how much you fight around, no matter how many guns are pointed at you, even if the sharp blade is in your throat, you can still lie on the bed calmly and say, Logan, you know that tonight is my whole life The most beautiful night, though, I know I don't deserve it, right?

'Logan, you know that, without a doubt, tonight is the most perfect night I've ever had in such a long time.'
'But I don't deserve it, do I?'

Maybe, get through this period of doubting yourself, doubting the world, doubting everything, being beaten by life, being knocked to the ground, and powerless to fight back, Logan, you'll be fine. You don't get angrily holding an X-Men comic and say, that crazy Mexican woman who reads too many comics gave us an address in a book!

And you would smile like Professor Charles and choose to go there anyway, because that address is real to Laura.

It may take as long as old Charles to teach you this painful lesson. There are so many absurdities in life that become facts, and so many things that seem solid are fleeting.

Logan, really, maybe get through that stage and be fine.

But maybe it won't get better.

Will it get better?
It never will.

I mean, maybe things don't get better and you just learn how to live with it.

You're no longer like a furious lion, fidgeting in a cage, you're no longer trying to drive a Limbo, slam the gas all the way, and try desperately to break through the barbed wire. Sometimes, maybe young, maybe with a little luck, you rush past, but more often, like now, you can't rush. You can't keep going. There are always things in life that block you, entangle you, trap you. You can't move forward.

You look around and no one seems to be there. But in fact, who is not like this, who is not in the mud, staggering and crawling forward.

So you learned, don't slam on the gas, honey, shift gears, back off. Back, back left, back right, trapped beasts still fighting. You are surrounded by a group. Until you need to fight, show your claws, show your blades.

The little wolf actor was so well chosen. A sturdy loli, her movements are steady and precise, without any hesitation. It is said that she is proficient in martial arts, yoga, gymnastics, fencing, and swimming. No wonder.

In terms of emotional control, it is indeed comparable to Natalie Portman's 13-year-old role in the killer when it was not too cold.

She was ruthless and murderous, and her shrill howls were all over the wilderness.

When the little girl turned around and walked into the woods, when Logan slumped on the ground weakly, his temples white and his skin soft, when he could no longer see the sun the next day, when a group of children were by the mountains and lakes, reciting "The Wild Man" I was heartbroken too.

This sadness is not a heartache, two lines of clear tears. But from the sadness, weeping loudly. I saw someone's short comment that at the end of the movie, I almost fainted from crying and was pulled up by a stranger next to me. I deeply understand this girl.

It's a hero's farewell, it's an actor's farewell, and it's our farewell to a certain part of our lives.

The first half is really good, but the second half is getting more and more dwindling

There is no doubt that this is the best Wolverine, and it can even be said to be the best superhero movie. It jumps out of Marvel's brainless scenes and DC's forced darkness, but it is more like a reality. A road movie with the theme of ideology. Heroes are twilight, there are old and young, the enemy is not the most terrible, the most terrible opponent is life and time. Hugh Jackman gave the best performance and almost broke down in many details.

Logan quotes

  • Donald Pierce: As I live and breathe, "the Wolverine".

  • Logan: Where's Caliban?

Donald Pierce: Why don't you tell me where the girl is first? Or I can ask the old man, he seems quite friendly...

Logan: I told you she's not here. Where's Caliban, motherfucker?

Donald Pierce: Well, I left him in the same ditch you was going to leave me in...
