"Knives Out"

"Knives Out" is a reasoning and suspense film that is universally recognized as a tribute to Agatha Christie, one of the world's three major reasoning masters. The whole movie is chaotic and orderly. It looks like a mess, but it is actually orderly.

The director is very good at using small foreshadowings to connect the plot, such as the blood on Marta's foot and the words of the old grandmother. These small foreshadowings hook the audience to keep looking down. There is also the arrangement of the scene and the control of the rhythm, which makes people addicted.

There are a lot of critics talking about the film's political metaphor, but I don't know much about American history and politics, so I won't say more.

From Cannes's "Parasite" to Venice's "Joker" to this awards season's "Knife Out of the Sheath", this year is a big year for genre films, and every one can be on the cusp of word-of-mouth. The "doughnut" case that lacks the center, put aside the suspense level by level, can't guess the plot direction, prefer to indulge in it, and have no time to think about it. The snickers of the US team when the legacy was announced, and the grandma's cheating when the detectives recovered the truth, all came to mind with the high commander's mouth-to-mouth laugh at the Oscar scene. It is not just a simple mystery film, the relationship between family members, and the opposition of classes, the more you think about it, the more you shudder. "The older you are, the harder it is to conceal your emotions, including sadness." Everyone can lie, and you can choose your own direction.
