We are here

The initial impression of the Beat Generation is in the political textbook of the first year of junior high school. That text describes the fallen world of Western youth. The editor took a picture from the audience at the Woodstock Music Festival. MA's eyes are confused and sexy. Teacher Liu, who is in his 40s, gritted his teeth over and over again to accuse the degenerate history of Western youth, which made me secretly glad to live in a happy country and firmly believe that Western youth is beyond cure, but every time I open the textbook Again and again, I had to cast my eyes on the white thighs of the young women in the first row of the picture.
Ten years later, the text has changed, and I have changed from a patriotic angry youth to a rock and roll angry youth with a hippie plot. I fantasize about the 1970s and regard "On the Road" as the bible, and watch "Easy Rider" over and over again. Recite "Howl" and burst into tears. And every now and then I think of a famous saying by Teacher Liu: fake, evil and ugliness will inevitably not withstand the test of time.
Like all road scenes, in the past ten years we have experienced bizarre scenery and met various interesting people. The luckiest thing is that we have survived and are and will continue to move forward. Borrowing a section from "Ten Minutes to the Old", the protagonist jumped onto the train over many obstacles and said to the beloved woman: Look out the window, but we are here.

Talking about freedom and achieving freedom are definitely two different things. Everyone talks about freedom, but when you see individuals who are absolutely free, you feel uncomfortable. “They are not scared of you , they are scared of what you represent to them, freedom.”

This film is the essence of the bottom half, and the top half is the foundation. Watching this film and hearing Bob Dylan at the end makes people yearn for that bygone era.
