The rhythm is too slow, I dozed off watching it, and came here with the expectation of watching a suspenseful detective film, I really couldn't continue watching it. Why does the female lead give up on the male lead, this setting is also quite strange

Don't say it's a bad movie, but I really don't see where the magic is

There are too many irrelevant things. Through the window, you can see beautiful women doing aerobics and puppies, but these have nothing to do with the theme. It can only be said that it adds philosophical thinking to the film. What are the big truths of life seen in the suspense film

The unique setting of the frame and the clever movement of the lens, rooted in the psychological exploration of Freud’s theory, all of Hitchcock’s films neglect the expressiveness of the actor’s acting skills. Maybe Hitchcock despises the profession of actor very much. The actors are used as vases and animals

Rear Window quotes

  • Woman on Fire Escape: [the woman's dog has just been killed from a broken neck; screaming in distraught at the other neighbors] WHICH ONE OF YOU DID IT? WHICH ONE OF YOU KILLED MY DOG? Lisa Fremont: If your opinion is as rude as your manner, I don't think I care to hear it.

L.B. Jefferies: Oh, come on now, simmer down.

Lisa Fremont: I can't fit in here, you can't fit in there. According to you, people should be born, live, and die on the same spot.

    L.B. Jefferies: Shut up!
