There is no lost, only the truth of life

The world in the eyes of a person who cannot find meaning is always absurd. An encounter may be inadvertently given too noble meaning by virtue of this emptiness and loneliness. But temporary romance can't save the existential anxiety from the upper body after all. Real and subtle emotions, common and beautiful, but never those tall and detached things. Experienced, keep at least a warm belief and memory, what to do.

"Lost in Translation" is simple, delicate, restrained, and of course a little absurd, not like an American movie. The director didn't give an ending that one's heart desires, nor did he tell you any answer about life or love. She just hides behind the scenes with a calm description, and expresses the life dilemma shared by most people, which is contradictory and true.

Boring and helpless institutional life and light romance are not real. Real, only the tension-filled human nature in the dual life. Although the dilemmas in life are frustrating, we cannot escape them and live in solitude. And in fact, it is these dilemmas that shape us, fill us, and make people exist in real dimensions (neither spiritual nor physical). So this movie does not follow the petty bourgeoisie line of "a little bit of romance and a little helplessness". It doesn't tell anything, but it shows the truth of everything. In the last scene, the hero and heroine embrace each other on the street, affectionately and restrained, say goodbye quietly, and everything returns to its original position. But obviously they have harvested something indescribable in their hearts. At this time, "Just Like Honey" slowly rose, and I just felt very at ease.

In fact, where is the so-called lost? Who dares to say what kind of life is absolutely sober and correct? There is no lost, only the truth of life.

I watched this in my dorm with my classmates five years ago. At the time, I just thought it was an unbelievable and decadent boring movie. And now the feeling can only be said to be a different thing.
