The name of the movie should be "Alice in Wonderland Again". It's not an adaptation of a cartoon. It's not interesting or meaningful. It makes the poker soldiers look like lobsters. It's ugly. I'm very disappointed with the whole movie.
The deep meaning of the movie is Alice's process of self-exploration. The tree hole represents the subconscious. The caterpillar always asks her: "who are you?" It is to let her know who she is. At the beginning, she said that she was not what they were looking for. That Alice, when Alice lost herself. The Red Queen represented the mother of the person who proposed to her, or her mother, or the world, and she did not dare to resist. In Wonderland, she finally found herself again, defeated the Fried Neck Dragon, defeated the Red Queen, and rejected the man in the real world, knowing what kind of life she really wants, this is the one for each of us process of self-growth.
