the rock... miss the days of 90's hollywood live action blockbusters...

My favorite and most classic scene in "The Rock"... Probably at the end of the film, Mr. Zhao Si holds a signal stick and the fighter jets fly over... This play can be regarded as one of the rare ones among the poison king Nicholas and the director who sells copies. Great movie...

Today, the classic and powerful BGM has been used badly by major training institutions and variety shows... Most people probably don't know that the soundtrack originated from this show... After checking it, it is really the soundtrack of Mr. Hans zimmer. Works...from The Lion King to Pirates of the Caribbean to The Dark Knight...Hans' soundtrack is almost a complete set of my favorite movie soundtracks...

I miss the Hollywood action war blockbusters in the 1990s...the 80s are too stiff and not real...the computer CG special effects are in the ascendant...all kinds of explosions are bombarded indiscriminately, and the action scene design is all trying to come true...the real adrenaline is soaring...like the real one Lies, speed of life and death, Terminator, saving Private Ryan, and this tHe rock...the pinnacle of live-action Hollywood action movies in the 90s...not like green screen, special effects synthesis...the visual effects are really good...but Finally lost the sense of realism... So in this era of flooded special effects synthesis... There are directors like Nolan who insist on pursuing real-life shooting... It is really rare...

But... Having said that... Computer special effects have developed to today... Compared with the previous era of bombing, speeding, and thick smoke... It is indeed more friendly to the environment... It can save resources to a greater extent... Protect the environment.

Not to mention how great this movie is (it's great in itself). What makes sense is that it made me meet Michael Bayshaun Connery Cage and the soundtrack of Hans Zimmer, who has been in love for more than a decade now; finally, I asked Ed Harris Tribute to General Frank Hammer!

The Rock quotes

  • Stanley Goodspeed: I have to go to San Francisco

Carla: No you don't, no you do not have to go San Francisco are you kidding me right now? You have to stay here and talk to me about things, I am catholic do you realize that? I am pregnant and unmarried this causes a serious problem for me

Stanley Goodspeed: I love you, I will marry you I just didn't plan on this that's all, come to San Francisco with me

    Carla: Really?

Stanley Goodspeed: I'm sure it's just a training exercise, we'll check into the hotel order some champagne...

Carla: And finish what we started

  • Chief Justice: [Talking privately, referring too releasing Mason to aid in the rescue of the hostages] This is for the sake of national security

FBI Director Womack: No its the sake of national security that got us here in the first place thirty three years ago. I knew some day this would come back to bite us, he does not exist

Chief Justice: [referring to Mason] he does exist we just choose to forget him for thirty years we locked him up and threw away the key.

FBI Director Womack: A lot of god damn good it did, he broke out of two maximum security prisons and if he hits the streets...

Chief Justice: He's not going to hit the streets, thirty years ago he was a highly trained SAS operative, he was my agent for Christ sake. I have to get up three times a night to take a piss.

FBI Director Womack: We can't risk letting him out, he's a professional escape artist. He has no identity in the United States.
