North by Northwest

Alfred Hitchcock shows what a movie is supposed to be. Engaging, entertaining and flavourful in every scene, and could be a lesson well-learned for many directors today. Although the movie does not any deep inner meanings, but North by Northwest continuously engage with audiences that there is never a dull moment. Witty dialogues further adds value to a great script. Like many other Hitchcock films, there are many instances where we can notice cinematography techniques that must have been new at the time. Another great movie by the masterful Alfred Hitchcock by every single way.

The film is more in-depth, not very understandable

Two very deep impressions: the dialogue is also harmonious, and the photography makes good use of the elevation angle. To be honest, the most classic cornfield chase seems to be an unnecessary waste scene, which shows that how to shoot is more important than what to shoot.
