Why is it not guilty of selling tobacco but guilty of weapons?

Because human reason is easily deceived by desire, and weapons magnify desire.

A drug dealer can say, "I sold him drugs just to give him pain relief. Who knew he would take drugs?" The motive is unprovable, so the more destructive the desire is, the easier it is to be defined by society as a Contraband. Smoking < gambling < drug use < murder, the corresponding degree of control: tobacco < casino < drugs < guns.

Teacher Luo Xiang said that "freedom cannot be at the expense of completely giving up freedom", and "the law must protect your (other) freedom by restricting your (minor) freedom", and he agrees.

Guns may not only completely give up freedom, but also life. Therefore, fighting gun smuggling does not violate the principle of freedom.
