Hold on a little longer and the fog will dissipate

After reading it, I feel weird, as if I want to say, people who don't believe in God, go to death. The United States is indeed a society based on religious belief. This film may have wanted to say that the human heart is more terrifying than the unknown, but in the middle of it, it got out of tune. All the survivors who doubted God died, and they died in the fog. The moment before, the crazy woman who claimed to be a believer of God killed innocent people indiscriminately, and the person who was forced to kill her died immediately in the next scene.

There are no heroes, only religion.

Some people say that the greatest fear of mankind is the unknown. I think this sentence is right. However, when I saw a group of them throw the soldier out, I realized that the most terrifying thing should be the people's heart inspiring everyone to throw this soldier as a sacrifice. After going out, everyone was convinced that there was no doubt, no hesitation, and no guilt to listen. This is the most terrifying and terrifying thing is that you know that these people are not doing the right thing. The irony is that death is not ranked in this movie in terms of its terrible degree.

The Mist quotes

  • Wayne Jessup: It wasn't my fault!

  • Amanda Dunfrey: I just want you to know that it's okay... being scared. And, well, if you need a friend, someone to talk too...

Mrs. Carmody: I have a friend. God, up above. I talk to him everyday. Don't you condescend me.

    Amanda Dunfrey: I'm sorry?

Mrs. Carmody: Not ever. You don't mock me.

Amanda Dunfrey: That's not what I was doing.

Mrs. Carmody: I'll tell you what. The day I need a friend like you, I'll just have myself a little squat and shit one out.
