High profile Loser

Maybe it's because the whole film is a comedy, I really can't feel sympathy for the heroine's experience, but will look at it from another angle.
I'm thinking, if this theme is changed to a domestic drama, what will it look like. There is a divorced and cynical mother, a sloppy job, the heroine is old, not married, has no stable boyfriend, no money, no background, if she lived in China, she should have been submerged in the public comments. In the saliva, let alone the chance to turn over, I am afraid that her life has been positioned, an out-and-out Loser. The second half of her life is almost doomed to be unhappy and lonely.
However, this is an American TV series, and Anne is not a regular Loser. Beneath her Loser appearance, she has a brave heart that dares to make things worse, that is, she seems to have no bottom line in being a human being, or She dared to ignore the bottom line of others, and her courage surprised me, where did she come from.
Anne has an attitude of doing things against the world. She is completely broken, as if she is watching a good show. Watching her own good show, watching how life can treat her, and how she can do it by herself, make her look like On the contrary, there is a strange pride.
There are a few scenes that stood out to me:
1. Anne rides on the door, only to have the automatic door open and she rides on it embarrassedly, which seems to set the tone for her throughout the film.
2.Anne was rushing to speak with Helen at Lilian's engagement ceremony, the scene was so embarrassing that I could hardly watch it, I admired Anne's courage
3.Anne said to the girl who came to buy a necklace for her best friend, there is no best friend at all Forever, I have no faith so I want to destroy other people.
4. Anne finally got angry and messed up Lilian's engagement cake. Courage, Courage
, if Anne is still cute, she called her friend lilian and said that suddenly someone was so nice to me, but I ran away in fear, and I don't know what happened to me.
Revealing scars always makes the audience relent, because we all have a consensus. Deep down, those who have been alone for too long are always afraid. So we can forgive Anne.
After all, it's a comedy, so in the end it's Happy Ending. Even Helen, who is perfect, has troubles that are difficult to share with others. Although this trouble comes a bit abruptly, it's more like the screenwriter's imposition to balance Anne, but who care, Audiences like that, don't they?

In American comedies, people always think that someone will tell you how your life should be, and then it will really change in the future. Then I thought I would meet someone like that.

Bridesmaids quotes

  • Gil: Before you make those kinds of demands you should put a note on your door that says, "Do not come into my room and read my diary and wear my clothes."

  • Ted: I wouldn't want to make you explain what our relationship is to all those people. That would suck for you.
