Humanity in need of redemption and humanity in need of education——Thinking caused by "Shallow Grave"

You will certainly admit the filth and evil in human nature, but what method do you take to get rid of the existence of these things in your body? Observing the people around is mostly not thinking about it, but actively working towards the so-called morality and enlightenment of human beings to calm the inner restlessness. This is how the Chinese view the evil of human nature, avoiding and teaching people to be good, and the so-called good is determined by authority and supervised by public opinion. I think that if you avoid a part of human nature, you also avoid self-consciousness in human nature. Without consciously, human nature has no independent and free thinking, tends to social collective ideas, and cares more about public opinion and social evaluation. This method often separates evil from good and pushes it to two extremes, but no matter how great the sage is, good and evil are unified at the same time. The attitude towards people who have made mistakes in this way is extreme and distorted, and those who have made mistakes add shame greater than themselves and gratitude for those who tolerate them. This kind of human nature brings about the dualism of either or the other way of looking at things, and it is mostly a fierce attitude. This kind of humanity does not produce respect for life, but arrogant arrogance and isolation. See how the people at the other end deal with it. The basic attitude of Western religions is that people are sinful and life needs atonement. This attitude contains the seeds of modern society. As I have always insisted, only suffering can make people progress. If you think about the evil of man, you will look for the good of man. Guilt of evil will be more humble than the other lives faced. Finding the way to salvation will contemplate the meaning of man. The search for this meaning depends on God and religion or rationality and science. The pain of the Middle Ages makes people conscious of rational and scientific salvation. Of course, other civilizations that emphasize evil have not produced scientific and rational modern civilizations due to other factors such as geography. This attitude towards human nature will make people more relaxed, more tolerant and unified. Of course, it will also make a few people more evil and distorted, because various other factors push him to the black hole at the end of the evil and cannot be freed by the power of his own consciousness.

The above thoughts are my thoughts after watching the introduction of Danny Boyle's debut novel "Shallow Grave". I haven't studied Western religions, just think about it. "Shallow Grave" is a dark and thrilling movie. They are talking about three young people in the game of life using the rented house to play tricks on people, but they meet a consort who carries a large sum of money. They accepted him, but one day the man died mysteriously naked in front of them and left the money. These three young men representing warmth, positive, sunshine, distortion, evil, darkness, and a woman who speculates on emotions and wanders between good and evil to maximize the benefits of the three young men who completely forgot the morals and left the man’s body. Smuggled to the woods for disposal. They draw lots to decide who will divide the body, and the director arranges for the dark and twisted person to do it. Afterwards, the other two were still happy gaming lives. But the one who divided the corpse became more and more perverted and evil. He hid in the attic and did not touch other people. Being alone in the illusion of dismemberment was evil, and at the same time treating the money as private property, taped it up and hid it in the water tank. Suddenly one day two people came to look for the money left by the man. They subdued the two downstairs, but were brutally killed in the attic by someone who was already very abnormal. The conflict finally broke out, and the three people fought for the money. The seemingly active representative was in the same group with the woman. They jointly killed the pervert, but the woman was left nailed to the floor by a knife and her companion left with the money. But it didn't end. When the woman opened the cash box, it was full of waste paper. The camera returned to the person who was smiling on the floor. The camera moved down, allowing the audience to see the money hidden there. The movie ends. Danny Boyle (Danny Boyle)’s films have always used rationality and sensibility to think about human nature, and he has always used Catholicism, romanticism and gameism to understand human nature, and unified it with his films. The evil of human nature is his constant criticism, and the awakening of human beings parted with the past after allowing the protagonist to have a sum of money. Sin needs to be conscious of it, and what is often redeemed is an external opportunity. Money is an opportunity for people who want to leave sin.

After reading the introduction, I thought of those who saw the focus interviews interviewing the new Minister of Education, and the response to me was the minister who enlightened and restrained humanity. He used to be the sage of Kong, but now he is the party. The Ministry of Education is just a tool of party rule, and the methods are essentially the same as in the past. How long will China's ideological modernization linger in this myth, or repeat the history of China's rise and fall?

The DEMO version of Trainspotting, the whole play is a bit loose, and the wheat is bright at the end.

Friendship, human nature, is worthless in the face of huge money, there will always be people who can't resist the temptation and take risks. The staff accountant who was driven by the ducks was dismembered and became beastly and possessed by demons; the only woman showed the insidious cunning under the temptation of money; the seemingly bohemian Ivan was the most cunning guy . Through simple character, scene, and story design, such an interesting movie was made. As a debut, it is really amazing.

Shallow Grave quotes

  • Alex Law: Good, let's talk about disposal. Now we have to make that body unidentifiable and burning, dumping at sea and straight forward burial are all flawed, either by fingerprints or more commonly by dental records, this I have learned. Now what I suggest is we bury him out in the forest, but first or all we remove his hands and his feet, which we incinerate, and his teeth... which we just remove. It's as simple as that. David -

[sticks tool at Davids neck, laughs]

Alex Law: . I've always wondered what these were for. Now... oh...

    [picks up saw]

Alex Law: This is what we need. And, em...

    [picks up hammer]

Alex Law: this. Now, what else?

    David Stephens: I don't know.

Alex Law: A spade, we need a spade - David, I wish you'd concentrate, we need a spade if we're gonna dig a pit.

David Stephens: So who's gonna do it?

Alex Law: Dig the pit? I don't know...

    David Stephens: No, not that.

Alex Law: The what? Who's gonna do what?

David Stephens: You know what I'm talking about - who's gonna do it?

Alex Law: Do I? What? What are you talking about?

David Stephens: You know what. Who's gonna do it?

Alex Law: We all are David. We are all gonna do it. Each of us, you, me and Juliet will do his or her bit, okay? Fair enough?

David Stephens: I can't do it.

Alex Law: I don't hear this...

David Stephens: I won't be able to do it.

Alex Law: Are you telling me you want out already? Are you telling me you don't want the money? Hugo is going off, he smells-

    [David hushes him]

Alex Law: The flat smells. We can't wait any longer.

David Stephens: I'm just telling you I won't be able to cut him up.

  • David Stephens: [David is being interviewed by detectives McCall and Mitchell about the burglary in the flat] So I just heard her cries for help and all that. And when I went downstairs there were already those other people there. So I just stood around, you know, waiting - the way people do. And when your colleagues arrived, I came back upstairs. That's about all I think. I didn't actually see anything useful, I don't think.

Detective-Inspector McCall: And the other three people living in the flat, did they hear anything?

David Stephens: There are only two other people in the flat.

Detective-Inspector McCall: [looks quizzically at Mitchell then flips through his notebook] Two?

David Stephens: Who said there were four?

Detective-Inspector McCall: We understood there were four people living here. Not always, of course, but now. Four.

David Stephens: No, three. Who said there were four?

Detective-Inspector McCall: [looks to Mitchell] How strange. And how unsatisfactory to have misleading information.

    [looks back to David]

Detective-Inspector McCall: Only three people here? You're sure?

David Stephens: Yes, absolutely. Who said there were four?
