For any world we don't know yet yearn for, whether that world is the universe or just a person, there is always a paradoxical and fatal attraction to us. She tried her best to explore everything there, and any signal she received from there was a treasure. She spent 1 second on Earth to travel through multiple black holes and saw the alien who turned into her father, she asked Why do you want to contact her, the alien said "We didn't contact you, you have been looking for us". Everything we get is not out of thin air, because we have always wanted it and worked hard for it. All we get is feedback on our actions. But not everyone understands our desires. We want to be able to take more people there like Ellie, and see the beauty, the aliens refused, saying, this is just the first step, it has been this way for hundreds of millions of years. Not everyone has the ability to foresee the good, and when we have the ability, we are so lost, so isolated, so lonely. The more you know, the more afraid, the more you think, the more sad, the more you see, the more lonely you are.
To endure this emptiness, the aliens say, can only rely on each other.
