The film is adapted from Marvel comics and tells the story of a black man with vampire genes dealing with various vampires, zombies and other monsters in order to protect humans.

"Pitch Black" is a science fiction film directed by David Twohy and starring Vin Diesel and Radha Mitchell . The film tells the story of a commercial spacecraft that was hit by a meteorite in the Tangier galaxy and crashed onto this desolate and hot planet. The survivors found an abandoned scientific research station nearby and tried to use the resources in it to build escape equipment, but the sudden death incident caused them to panic.
