It tells the story of a thug who put down his pistol for 11 years and was instigated by a young man nicknamed "Schofield Kid" to return to his old business and kill for a huge bounty. After finally receiving the bounty, he led his children to escape from San Francisco to do business. The film was released in the United States on August 7, 1992. The film won the 65th Oscars Best Picture Award in 1993 .
