They had a good time at first, but unexpectedly something went wrong with the robot and things started to become messy. John was shot and killed by a robot, and other tourists could not escape. Peter used his wit to eliminate the robot that was chasing him, but the tragedy is hard to recover. This film is Clayton's first film work and also the first film to use DigitalImage Processing , which uses pixelated photography to simulate the perspective of a humanoid robot. The film was nominated for the Hugo Award , Nebula Award and The Saturn Award .
