The TV animation "Soul Eater" is adapted from the manga of the same name by the Japanese comic artist, cartoonist, and caricaturist Atsushi ōkubo . It is a masterpiece of the 10th anniversary of BONES   . On December 5, 2007, it was confirmed that "Soul Eater" would be animated on TV. The decision to animate "Soul Eater" for TV was officially announced in the January 2008 issue of "Youth GANGAN" (December 12, 2007)   . The TV animation began broadcasting on April 6, 2008, with a total of 51 episodes. The animation of the same name adapted from the original "Soul Eater" spin-off comic " Soul Eater NOT! " started broadcasting on April 8, 2014, with 12 episodes in total.
