  • The Amazing Race reviews

    "The Amazing Race (The Amazing Race, TAR)" is a reality show where a group of people travel around the world to compete in speed races. The Columbia Broadcasting System has aired on a seasonal basis since 2001. The program records the global competition of several pairs of contestants in a month. The entire competition is divided into multiple stages, in which the last player in the knockout stage is eliminated, and the team that wins the final stage can receive a prize of $1 million. The race starts and ends in the United States and passes through many countries around the world. Each team must travel around the world according to the route information given by the film crew and complete the prescribed tasks during the competition. Since the Emmy Awards established the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program in 2003, The Amazing Race has achieved a "Top Ten" in the awards (2003-2009, 2011-2012, 2014).  The Amazing Race has two different domestic versions, namely "The Amazing Race: The Amazing Race: China Rush " by The International Channel Shanghai in 2010-12 and "The Amazing Race" by SHENZHEN SATELLITE TV in 2014-17 . On July 14, 2021, according to foreign media reports, the nominations for the 2021 Emmy Awards were announced, and "The Amazing Race" was nominated for the best competitive program.
