"Detroit" is a crime drama film produced by Annapurna Pictures and directed by Kathryn Bigelow, starring John Boyega , Will Poulter , Algee Smith and Anthony Mackie . The film was released in the United States on August 4, 2017. The film is adapted from the real Detroit riot in 1967. It tells the story of a police raid on an unlicensed motel located at the junction of Detroit Twelfth Street and Claremont Street, causing supporters and bystanders to clashed with the police and further evolved. It became one of the most deadly riots in American history. 

"Sorok pervyy" is a war film directed by Gregory Chukhley, starring Izolda Izvitskaya and Oleg Stryzhnov. The film tells the love tragedy of two young men and women with different classes, beliefs, cultural accomplishments, and pursuits during the Civil War of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics .

"The Act of Killing" is a documentary directed by Joshua Oppenheimer , which was released in Denmark on November 8, 2012. The film records a political massacre in Indonesia in 1965 from the perspective of the executioner.

"Amazing Grace" is a historical biographical film directed by Michael David Apted and starring Ioan Gruffudd , Benedict Timothy Carlton Cumberbatch and Romola Garai .
