"The Wind That Shakes the Barley" is a historical war film directed by Ken Loach and starring Kylian Murphy, Padrek Delaney , and Liam Cunningham . The film was released in France on May 18, 2006. The film tells the story of the two brothers Damian and Teddy in the Irish War of Independence and the Irish Civil War   .
