The directors of the three series of Batman movies are good storytellers. Tim Burton is good at atmosphere shaping, Joel Schumacher is good at scenes and Christopher Nolan is good at character shaping.

Nolan’s signature mental editing (short flashback) works well. But Ang Lee’s Hulk is the best superhero movie!
