The Martians shouting "We are here for peace" shoot humans everywhere with guns. The president of the United States tried in vain to shock the Martians with the infectious power of his speech. The coquettish hostess has turned into a monster with a human head and a dog body, and has not forgotten to flirt with a "scientist" who has only one head left. In the end, the Martians actually died in the purest human art. Such irony and affirmation of the power of art makes people uplifting and feels even more absurd in the real world.
