OKAY we know that there is at least one movie inside the movie. You might even add another one if you include the music-video part, when the MC goes to the porn & glamour basement. Which gives you (short) movie inside a movie, that is inside the movie you're watching.

Rear Window Ecstasy - The self-cultivation of a hard-core Hitchcock fan, the tribute also has a strong self-style and interest, and it is very enjoyable to watch; of course, it is no problem to criticize the script for being weak and far-fetched, but Perhaps De Palma placed imagery and ritual over storytelling and logic from the very beginning of the film's conception.

Palma pays homage to the work of Hifat [Rear Window] and [Vertigo]. Focus on peeping and being peeped, claustrophobia, electric drills and blood penetrating the ceiling, indistinguishable scenes within scenes, the work and living conditions of Hollywood B-movie and A-movie actors. Tracking drama is excellent, and the zoom surround shots of the tunnel-mouth scenes are dizzying. The rising bird's-eye view of the scene of burial by the reservoir is very meaningful. An erotic horror film set that echoes from beginning to end. (8.0/10)
