It can be imagined that the original work should be very exciting, but the more literary the work, the more difficult it is to be presented on the screen. Looking at the trailer, I thought it was a thriller, but it was actually a somewhat curious American boy growing up. I lost my mother in an explosion at an age when I was just beginning to understand art, and lost my father when I just found a friend and life was about to stabilize. The goldfinch painting obtained by chance in the explosion has become the support for the protagonist to survive in loneliness and find the meaning of survival. Due to the inherent sensitivity and precocious puberty and the dramatic departure of the family, the protagonist is at a disadvantage in things that require emotional effort. Goldfinch is a symbol that things don't last long, but beliefs can. Adapting a story with a bit of capacity into a movie is still a bit difficult. But the actors are doing well, especially the little ones.
