"Parasite" becomes the biggest winner of the Oscars, and Asian films usher in a "golden age"?

Upset, the biggest winner.
Today, Beijing time, the 92nd Academy Awards were held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, with awards in 24 categories being presented. Among them, "Parasite", which won South Korea's first "Palm d'Or" at the Cannes Film Festival, attracted much attention:...

Excessive force, not deep
I give three points, not to lower the crazy score, but this movie is still some distance away from the Palme d'Or. The movie is a good movie. You can see the director and screenwriter's intentions. It can be said that the two and a half hours of the movie is over without feeling the passage of...

Everyone is praising the metaphor of parasites and a deeper analysis of social class, human nature, etc., but as a finished feature film, if you want to be absurd and black humor, then stick to it, don’t engage in logical reasoning like Morse code. In the plot, the viewer cannot know the logic of the narrator. Therefore, many of the plot transitions were completely driven by the screenwriters to take it for granted and proceeded out of order for the sake of the plot. I was confused and gave a few examples: 1. My son's good friend sent a stone to him and introduced it to him. Such a good job opportunity, and the son still disappoints his good friend's kindness? ! This doesn't make sense; 2. If the parasite family had such superb deception skills, would they still live in a semi-basement? It’s extremely unreasonable in itself to be able to do the driver’s housework well enough to make the president’s family trust and satisfied and not be able to go out to work. It's really ridiculous. I don't know what people's mentality is to praise this film, but from my personal point of view, this film still has the Korean characteristics of the habitually disregarded scriptwriter.

Moon-gwang: What are you, a family of charlatans?

Ki-taek: [message to Ki-woo] Perhaps you, if no one else, will be able to read this. You were a Scout, so I'm writing this just in case. Have your injuries healed? I'm sure your mother is plenty healthy. I'm doing fine in here. Though thinking of Ki-jung makes me cry. Even now, what happened that day doesn't seem real. It feels like a dream, and yet it doesn't. That day as I went out the gate, I suddenly knew where I needed to go. A house where such a grisly thing took place would surely not be easy to sell. I've struggled to hold on in this empty house. Still, thanks to the house being empty - what was her name, Moon-gwang? - I was able to give her a proper send off. I hear treeside burials are trendy. So hell, I did my best. Those real estate sharks sure are clever. They duped some people who had just arrived in Korea and managed to sell the house. With the parents working and the kids attending school, the family is usually out. But the damned housekeeper stays here 24 hours a day. Each time I go upstairs, I take my life into my hands. And it turns out Germans eat more than just sausage and beer. What a relief. Passing the time down here, everything starts to go hazy. Today at least, I was able to write you this letter. If I send out the letter this way every night, maybe someday you'll see it. So long.
