Just a few small experiences

      Black Book

is a good film worth watching. The plot is tight and rigorous, and there are no obvious loopholes; the actors are also in place, and the director has a good grasp of the rhythm.

The general feeling is a bit like the Chinese version of Lust and Caution, where a certain woman uses her...

It looks like a suspense movie

The film itself is still very good, but unfortunately I bought a d5, and there is no trailer or commentary, otherwise you must watch it. The movie is magnificent, it is an epic movie, and it is also seen as an epic movie. At first, it feels like the Dutch version of Lust Caution, and when you look...

If anyone takes this "historical movie" full of coincidences and bizarre plot twists seriously, the old bastard Verhoeven will wake up laughing. He ironically merged the routines of almost all Nazi-Jewish-themed works into a successful book called "How to Survive a World Full of Bastards." Moral issues are really irrelevant in his works. Who sees the glamorous carcass and has the time to talk about morality? So there were good people in the Nazis, and so there were jerks in the resistance. The only point of the movie is that the heroine is a winner in life.

To be a good blockbuster, the premise is to have a solid and rigorous script, and the success of "Black Book" and "The Wind" has proved this. In fact, the story of "Black Book" is not so shocking, and in the final analysis, it is not out of the usual mode of melodrama.

    • Rachel Stein aka Ellis de Vries:
[Hans Akkermans is locked in the coffin, as a punishment for his murderous treason, struggling to get out by kicking and screaming]

Rachel Stein aka Ellis de Vries: We should actually get up and open the coffin.

      Gerben Kuipers: Yeah. We should...

[both Rachel and Gerben remain seated, gazing at the river]

Gerben Kuipers: What should we do with all the money?

Rachel Stein aka Ellis de Vries: It doesn't belong to us.

Gerben Kuipers: It doesn't belong to anybody.

Rachel Stein aka Ellis de Vries: To the dead...

[the sound of Hans Akkermans's screams stops, meaning he is now dead. Gerben raises his finger]

      Gerben Kuipers: He's quiet. Finally.

Rachel Stein aka Ellis de Vries: It seemed forever.
• General Käutner: Obersturmführer, open your safe.

Günther Franken: Of course. Which files would you like to see?

General Käutner: None. You're suspected of killing rich Jews. There's nothing wrong with that. But you've been looting the bodies and keeping the valuables for yourself. Failure to turn Jewish property over to the Reich is punishable by death. Open the safe.

Günther Franken: As you wish, Obergruppenführer.
