      Fright Night

After watching the 2011 version of Fright Night a few days ago, I thought about the day I would come to see the 1985 version. Today, cinemax suddenly broadcasted it. I have had the experience of playing old movies that I want to watch on this station several times, and I really love this movie station more and more.

Compared with the old version and the new version, the pace is obviously much slower. I originally liked the straightforward storytelling of the 2011 version, but after...

Fortunately, I watched the 720P HD version. In addition to the pictures, the story template of this film is too general. Did everyone copy him later? @2016-11-19...

It's bad and boring, it's a little scary when the vampire is dying, and the other one-and-a-half hours is too much time to fool the plot!...

    Movie plot

The biggest hobby of vampire enthusiast Charlie Brevis ( William Ragsdale ) is watching horror movies in the middle of the night. One night, two uninvited guests arrived in the empty house next door. Based on years of experience in watching horror movies, Charlie concluded that the two must be vampires. However, neither the police nor his friend's girlfriend believed his rhetoric.
In desperation, Charlie can only invite Pete Vincent...(

    Movie quotes

    • Evil Ed: [finds Charley's room full of lit candles, garlic, and crosses] Wow... what's all this for?

Charley Brewster: [sharpening a stake] Self-defense, not that I think I'll need it. He'll be dead before nightfall.

      Amy: Who will be?

Charley Brewster: Dandridge. I'm waiting for the guy he lives with to leave, then I'll go next door, find his coffin and pound this through his heart.

      Amy: That's murder, Charley!

Charley Brewster: You can't murder a vampire, Amy, he's already dead, remember? Listen, I just taped this.

Evil Ed: [teasingly] Amy, what're we gonna do? This is just like Fright Night!

Newscaster: [playback on tape] Now for the 2:00 news. Another body of a young woman was discovered early this morning in back of the Sheridan mall.

Charley Brewster: [shuts off tape] You see that? I don't have any choice. Somebody has to stop him.

Amy: Charley, it's... it's gonna be dangerous going in that house all alone, isn't it? I mean you're gonna need all the help you can get, right? Somebody like Peter Vincent for instance?

      Evil Ed: Yeah!

Charley Brewster: I tried him already.

Amy: Well, why don't you let us try him again before you do anything?

Charley Brewster: There's NOT enough time, Amy!

Amy: Well what happens if you go into that house alone, and he gets *you*? Who's gonna stop him then?

Evil Ed: Yeah, then he'll be able to suck his way through the entire town... but it wouldn't be much of a loss.

Amy: Charley, it's gonna be dark soon, and you don't want to go into that house then, do you?

Charley Brewster: No, no, you're right there. All right, try him again.

Amy: All right, now you promise you're not gonna do anything until you hear from us, OK?

      [Charley nods glumly]

      Amy: OK, come on!

Charley Brewster: Amy, you don't believe me, do you?

      Amy: Charley, I love you.

    • Charley Brewster: [sees Evil walking away] Hey, where are you going, pencil dick?

      Evil Ed: Home.

Charley Brewster: No way. We walk Amy home first.

    • Charley Brewster: We can't leave like this!

Detective Lennox: I've got a coffin for you.

Charley Brewster: Lieutenant, please, please listen to me. Jerry Dandrige is a vampire.
