There are only so many ways to make a thriller, it's your fault that it's boring to shoot.
A spooky doll, baby and mother, the calling of the soul, the same elements, roughly the same routine, much better shots include soul calling, lurking, etc. It's not for watching Annabelle 2, I really can't insist on watching it completely.
