The writing for the first part was great, the last episode or two was a bit weak. Coincidentally, the ending stopped on Christmas Eve, and it happened to be the same time for me off-screen. Colleagues said that people are not (often) as good at listening and introspection as the people in the show, and are reluctant to take the initiative to take on/solve problems. This is also the reason why the show is so warm and uncommon.
