too mysterious

I can basically understand modern stories and ancient stories, but I don’t understand what is the connection between the two? I don't understand what that sphere that keeps appearing like water droplets represents? Why can't the director tell the story well, making it so mysterious, the bald head shape of Wolverine is a bit nondescript, but the part about the ball is independent and has a taste of Zen. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not engaged enough or because I’m sleepy. Anyway, I didn’t feel moved or sad when I watched the film, or because I wanted to be sleepy! However, the rating on imdb is as high as 7.5, unfortunately I have no intention to appreciate it.

The director is a guy who plays metaphysics

The elements are very rich, and the interlacing of time is also very interesting, but the special effects shots in the last part are a bit inexplicable
