The Fountain. Lone Rock movie review score 7.0, 13 Rated. I thought it was a love movie, but it turned out that the author used love as a medium, which triggered thinking about life and soul. The author (screenwriter and director) broke the frame of Christianity. In addition to the content of the Bible, he also introduced elements of Buddhism, Taoism and ancient Mayan culture to think about life. For Chinese people, such films will surprise viewers. The local Confucian and Taoist cultures in China only focus on the cultivation of this life and do not pursue the pursuit of the afterlife. Under this cultural concept, most audiences can only take this film Movies are defined as romance films.
The film uses a time-travel approach to tell two ancient and modern love stories, but the author's connection between these two love stories is not natural and lacks a logical relationship, or the author did not provide necessary guidance, which led to the third part of the story glued together when it seems a bit far-fetched.
The actors' performances are impeccable, and the sportsman "Wolverine" Hugh Jackman's performance of emotional scenes is also well-intentioned, and the beautiful Rachel Weisz is even more familiar. We have to admire director Aronofsky for only 35 million to make such a dazzling film.
For such a non-mainstream movie with a niche theme, the domestic subtitle group did not make it with dedication, and the translation quality was unsatisfactory.

Maybe technology could change an entire movie before, now? I'm afraid it's not possible...
