History repeats, but the story is not reshaped, it is just retold.

Follow the trend, this year's Oscar's hot film review.
To judge whether a film review is good or bad, is it interesting? Whether that is what I like may depend on whether it releases positive energy.
A murderous man who exploits legal loopholes, calculating lawyers. The lawyer found that he had been misled in the previous case, repented, and decided to protect himself and his family, and bring the criminals to justice under the legal framework. In the end, the murderer got the punishment he deserved. Although there was a little episode, the murderer's mother was also a murderer and shot and killed the lawyer, but the lawyer was not only a lawyer, but also a witty and brave little fighter. He also brought a gun in self-defense. So the story ends.
The plot is very compact, and the story can be seen, but what about the lack of magic? I still don't quite get it. It may be a historical background. I think the hotel RWANDA has been rated the most recently. Could it be that the more people die and the more painful it is, the more I like it?
On the topic of lawyers, China's Li Zhuang, will it be the same? Defended someone who was not so black in the underworld, offended the authorities, and then was framed by the client and went to prison. After the chaos is set, see the sunny day again? All I can say is that history repeats itself, but the story is not remade, it's just retold.

The villain's family has a big business, but there is no horse boy, it's too cool and fake.

There is a lot of tension between the characters, but the court debate is unremarkable, like a movie version of an American drama, even less exciting than Boston Legal

The Lincoln Lawyer quotes

  • Gloria: Yeah, housewife of the year, that's me.

  • [Mick, armed with a baseball bat, discovers Louis has broken into his house]

Louis Roulet: [sitting casually in Mick's home office] If you're wondering how I got in, I'm in real estate, so if I want to get into a friend's house...

Mick Haller: No, we're not friends. You're my client. And I'm your lawyer.

Louis Roulet: My lawyer. See, that's exactly what I wanted to remind you of. I'm about to go on trial, and yet I couldn't reach you. Now I find out where you were all day. Heard you tell Maggie.

    Mick Haller: You shit.

Louis Roulet: You went to see Jesus Martinez. And I know what you talked about: Donna Renteria. You're right, Mick. I killed her. There. No reason I shouldn't tell my own lawyer since it's all confidential. Attorney-client privilege. Isn't that what you told me?

Mick Haller: It's time for you to go, Louis.

    Louis Roulet: Alright.

[He sits up, finishes his drink, and stands up. He notices a framed picture of Mick & his daughter Hayley on Mick's desk]

Louis Roulet: [walks out into the living room] That's a cute picture of your daughter Hayley. She's very pretty. She's got soccer practice tomorrow, right?

    Mick Haller: [following Louis] Don't.

Louis Roulet: [pretending to be confused] Don't what?

Mick Haller: [gets in Louis' face] You think you're the first client to threaten me and my family? Huh?

Louis Roulet: All I said was she's pretty.

Mick Haller: Are you scared, Louis? Because where you are right now, you're in a very dangerous place.

[He opens the front door and Louis leaves]
