work of wonder

WandaVision is an amazing work, and it's a very sad story, and it's very interesting and very thoughtful.

First, the first half of each episode is presented in a sitcom format that leaves people scratching their heads. Each episode of a sitcom spans an era, such as the first episode is in the 60s, the second episode is in the 70s and so on. The end of the first episode felt a little weird, and later I knew that this was created by Wanda's magical enchantment, and it was her fantasy. From the second and third episodes, you understand the meaning of the title "Wanda Vision" instead of "Wanda and Vision" because this is the world from her own perspective, she created it herself. From a '60s sitcom to a '00s fusion, it's a fun way to show it off. A witch at the end of the penultimate episode takes Wanda back in time, and the audience understands why it started with a 1960s sitcom. Because when Wanda was a child, her family loved watching movies and TV dramas, and the most common ones were those from the 1960s. Later, her family was bombed while watching the drama. By the way, it also explains the problems that are not positively explained in Avengers 2, such as why Wanda hates Iron Man so much, because the missile says Stark Industries, which was developed by Iron Man. In Iron Man 1, Stark Industries was a company that made arms, but later decided not to make arms because Iron Man was kidnapped by terrorists.

Second point, a few questions. Why Wanda and Vision are attracted to each other. I think that part of the gem in Wanda comes from the enhancement of the mind, and the vision also comes from the mind gem. And why can you create a vision with superpowers out of thin air when you create a magical enchantment, the other people in the magical enchantment are just the aborigines in the town who are controlled by Wanda's magic, and the vision of the magical enchantment is Wang Created with the energy of the Mind Stone, the vision that has died is born because of the Mind Stone, of which the Mind Stone is a part.

The finale is also very perfect. It is well connected with the main drama. In the spin-off drama, Wanda's identity and ability are officially positioned, and at the same time, it lays the groundwork for Marvel's follow-up story. Wanda's rank and ability have been raised a notch, and he has officially become a character that may have the aura of the protagonist.

WandaVision is a light-hearted, witty, suspenseful, action-packed series. Compared with the other drama "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", it is not procrastinating at all, nor does it have a didactic element, everything is handled All are reasonable.

It's a sad ending, the enchantment is gone, and so is the vision. Compared to other heroes, Wanda has nothing but powerful mana. Iron Man and his female assistant live happily and have a daughter, Captain America goes back to the past to spend his life with his lover, and Spider-Man has a group of hilarious high school classmates. Except that Hulk actively chose to live in isolation, only Wanda had nothing, and important people died. She thought that the magic barrier was her home, but she had to turn it off. It starts lightly in '60s comedy fashion and ends with sadness and loneliness, capturing the audience's emotions.

There is one point I have never understood, Wanda is a born witch, does the Mind Stone just stimulate her energy? Or was it the power of the Mind Stone that transformed her from mortal to witch? According to the villain witch in the play, it seems that Wanda was born a witch, and the Mind Stone enhanced her strength. Is that right.

Marvel understands American TV series (only before E7, after a few episodes began to impatiently lay out the blueprint for its own universe).

In the end, I found that this show was not actually used to pave the way for MCU expansion, but actually told a good personal origin story of the Scarlet Witch, which is quite impressive.

WandaVision quotes
