Do you believe in parallel time and space? I believe.

The timeline I understand after the second brush:

[Time and Space 1 - Mitsuha A, Taki A]
Mitsuha in 2013 and Taki in 2016 exchanged bodies, 2013.10.3 Mitsuha went to Tokyo to find Taki, and found that the two had 3 years The time difference, it turns out that Taki in 2013 didn't know Mitsuha. Mitsuha sent Taki red rope. Then I cut my hair short when I got home.
2013.10.4 Mitsuha died in the comet event.

2016.10.3 Taki went on a date with a senior (he was wearing a red rope on his hand during the date). After the date, Taki couldn't get through to Mitsuha, and never exchanged bodies since. So after two or three weeks, he decided to go to the countryside to find Sanye, only to find out that there was a three-year jet lag. Taki took a sip of wine and traveled back to the time before Comet 2013.10.4.

[Time and Space 2 - Mitsuha B, Taki A] On October 4,
2013, on the top of the mountain, Taki in 2016 was in Mitsuha's body, Mitsuha B was in Taki's body, and the two met.
And at dusk, the two exchanged again and returned to their own bodies.
Mitsuha B went to successfully persuade Dad to let the whole town escape.

[Time and Space 3 - Mitsuha B, Taki B]
Two or three weeks after October 3, 2016, Taki B woke up at the top of the mountain and lost his previous memory. (History has been rewritten)
Trilobite B has grown up normally since the 2013 Comet event.
In 2021, Mitsuha B and Taki B meet.

Destiny is really a weakness in our hearts forever.
It turns out that I fell in love with you long before I met you, how wonderful.

Beautiful painting, no sense of story.

One of the most satisfying movies of this year, I know very well how everyone is feeling. I always felt that Makoto Shinkai's story was a shortcoming, but this time the script was unexpectedly good. The movie viewing experience in the theater is excellent, there is no doubt about the picture and music, the humor and sensation are just right, about time and space, ties, growth and love. The interlacing of time and space is reminiscent of "The Night That Comet Came", and the memory of the name is reminiscent of the two people in "Spirited Away" falling from the air.

  • Katsuhiko Teshigawara: [looking outside] we both have it rough, don't we?

  • Katsuhiko Teshigawara: It's the oldest sake in the world. By chewing on rice, spitting it out, and letting it ferment, it becomes alcohol.

Sayaka Natori: Kuchikamisake. Do the gods appreciate sake made that way?

Katsuhiko Teshigawara: Of course they do.
