Charming little boy's growth trajectory

The reason why I finished this movie today is because Tom wants to see the highly rated movie Little Snow Peas from a few years ago.

Because there is already a lively bug in my mind, I will inevitably have some expectations and presuppositions for the snow peas. At the beginning of the movie, I was stunned by Ivan's profile, wow, why is he so good-looking in any shape.

The growth of boys in a few years is amazing. This little snow pea looks like a ten-year-old. So in the first half of the movie, he and Maria supported each other and moved forward. The thin and strong figure made me want to snort his hair every minute and then kiss him and hold it high.

Naomi played that feeling of holding on for Lucas so well. Aside from my assumptions about Tom himself, Lucas, as the eldest son in the family, is an age when he begins to have some sense of his own independence and is about to embark on a bumpy journey of growing up, but he is also childish and very dependent on his mother. The sense of mutual support between the two is really just right.

Snow peas is in a lot more roles in this movie than I thought, and there are countless highlights on him. Helping others to come back and not being able to find their mother, being confused, miserable, helpless, and forcing myself to calm down is really good! ! ! The same stunning also happened in the few scenes when he was looking for his father. There are countless scenes of the snow peas running through the hospital, but in every scene, he is just right.

The first cry was Ivan's phone call. It's just so sad and anxious for everyone. The second is the reunion of the father and son, and you just think, oh my God, this is really a miracle. Then Lucas saw his mother again, and Maria was so swollen and bruised that I couldn't tell.

The scene where Maria's surgery and drowning are interspersed at the end, and the slow-motion scene of finally getting out of the water (successful operation) actually gave me a little bit of drama, but the next second to switch to the scene where Lucas wakes up is great. Even though I knew the ending was good, that moment was a heartbreaker for Lucas.

Finally the plane leaves and Maria looks out the window. Inexplicably reminds me of the last scene of the last dictatorship, looking at Zhan Yimei who is also bruised and bruised out of the plane window. Completely different backgrounds, but some of the same tears of mixed emotions.

Crazy cheering for the snow peas, I didn't expect to feel manly at such a young age. Really cute and powerful snow peas.

The Impossible quotes

  • Maria Bennett: Lucas, look at this place. They're so busy in here. You get to go and do something. Go help people. You're good at it.

  • Henry Bennett: [to his young son] But you know, you know, the most scary bit for me?

Thomas Bennett: When the water hit?

Henry Bennett: No. After that, when I came up, I was on my own. That was the scariest part. And when I saw the two of you clinging to the tree, I didn't feel so scared anymore. I knew I wasn't on my own. You see?
