McClane, who fought hackers on Independence Day six years ago to save America from a peril, is now starting to save the world. God, why do you keep putting this on? McClane, can we not look up to Conan? Big things happen whenever you show up, and always when you're on vacation.
Little Lucy sent McClane on the machine at JFK, and his daughter urged him: "Dad, don't cause any trouble when you go to Russia this time."
John: "Uh.... You think I want to be... Okay, don't worry"
Old McClane went to Russia to visit his imprisoned son, who knew that this bastard was actually the CIA. Jack opened his mouth and said, "Er God, why are you here, Dad?"
Old McClane said, it's not because of you bastard, you're doing wool?
Jack is tasked with rescuing a closely monitored Russian nuclear scientist. Obviously the CIA's mission is always so loose, a group of well-armed mercenaries suddenly rushed out, and Jack took advantage of the chaos to rescue the scientist. However, John appeared. Jack ditched McClane and ran, the mercenaries chasing him. These mercenaries are really good, that armored car is too cool. Old John grabbed a broken truck and chased after him. As a result, after chasing, the armored vehicle put Jack's broken van sideways. The old McClane suddenly came to the rescue, and the armored car was squeezed under the bridge in open mode. The father and son were finally reunited.
Remember McClane's terrible family relationship? Like Lucy, the younger brother Jack and John kept drooling, and there was no limit to complaining. In the safe house, old McClane finally found out that his precious son was actually FUXXXXking CIA. After staying for less than five minutes, the government special police actually chased after him. The CIA safe house guard was shot in the head and the scientist was injured. Jack was forced to blow up the safe house and escaped down the back road.
Scientists asked to see their daughter before they could give information on the raw materials for Russian nuclear weapons in his possession. In the agreed place, although I got the key to the nuclear arsenal, I didn't expect that the scientist's daughter was actually a mercenary group. Old McClane and Jack fought and finally escaped.
The grand showdown began, father and son went to a nightclub to grab a Maserati and headed straight to Chernobyl. Open the back compartment and look at the whole small arsenal. In Chernobyl, after the scientist opened the nuclear arsenal, he suddenly shot and killed the leader of the mercenary. It turned out that the scientist was the big villain. file and arranged for his escape.
In the end, Jack took the scientist downstairs, the scientist was swept to death by the tail of the helicopter, and the scientist's daughter crashed into the building, trying to kill two people, but the plane crashed and died.
McClane and Jack return to America, and Lucy returns to meet the hero father and son.
John McClane is not a hero in the traditional sense, he thinks he does what he should because he is a policeman. If it weren't for the police, he wouldn't have lost his family life. He doesn't like being a police officer because he misses a lot of family events.
Die Hard isn't an action movie in the true sense of the word, it's a mix of slapstick, action and sneer. Earlier, a police officer whose marriage failed to save his marriage, and then accidentally crashed into the robbery of armed elements. From 3 onwards, it is the terrorists under the gauntlet, about to fight McClane. And 4 and now 5 have turned back to John's family life, the last one was daughter Lucy, this one is son Jack. A pair of babies are dissatisfied with John. In their view, their father is a dutiful New York policeman who has saved the crisis several times. He should be comparable to James Bond's American civilian 007. In McClane's view, if he can live a peaceful life and be with his family, he doesn't want to be a policeman or a city hero. So 1, 2, 4, and 5 all start with McClane saving his family's life, while saving a big crisis and being a city hero as the theme.
Some people say that 5 is a bad movie. Looking at the scene is not as big as the previous one, F22 has been dispatched, and this is just the elk helicopter to help out. But the content is still very full, highlighting McClane's father-son relationship, as well as the maddening father-daughter relationship of YURI scientists. This film has a lot of literary and artistic style, but the shortcoming is that there are too few action scenes, or even just chasing.
For McClane fans, this is not a bad movie, but it means that although McClane is old, he is old and strong. That kind of traditional American hero still has a deep influence.
