If society is a person with multiple personalities

Who decides whether the world is good or bad, and on what basis? Is it government, law, morality? Or power, money, majority rule? The complex state of society formed by the multifaceted nature of people makes conflicts of interest the root of all bad things. Every revolution aims to eliminate its root causes, but it is just a redistribution of interests flowing among different strata, focusing on the situation and not changing its essence. When they become an obstacle to the interests of some people, those "shields" will become the most deadly "spears", and they are irrefutable. In the end, life and death are left to fate.

Martin Vail: And that's good. You should've left them years ago.

Janet Venable: Oh, Jesus! Why do you think you always know what's best for me?
