First of all, I was attracted by the title of "Resident Evil". I have always liked watching movies about mutation. The "Alien" I watched in junior high school should be the first time I came into contact with such movies, and finally found another major hobby besides martial arts dramas. Mutation is a cruel phenomenon, the consequence of a certain fault. In this regard, it serves as a cautionary tale. For the audience, it gives visual, auditory and imaginative space stimulation. The polluted dead in Resident Evil is scary, but the most scary thing is the Doctor who created the contamination. The horror of the dead is that he is polluted, the horror of the Doctor is that his humanity is completely lost in the end. The T virus does not exist in our current society, but people like Dr. do exist in our current society. This is a point of contact.
Putting these aside, from the point of view of the film alone, the heroine is a great bright spot. Similar to Arnold's films, he is the main focus. No matter how frustrated he is, he must have gone through many obstacles and defeated evil.
There are no such powerful people in reality, so the heroine in "Life" is also infected with the virus, but she is the only one with pure blood, and can successfully accept the T virus without mutating. Her physical strength has a reason, and her spiritual strength sends a warm signal to the audience.
What was more impressive was that when she took many of the people she rescued to a desolate and relatively safe city, she encountered a dead person infected with the new T virus deliberately placed there by the evil forces inside. Throwing into battle, the Doctor orders her to be shut down. She was controlled by the evil forces. At this time, one of the girls who was rescued by her made a miserable roar because she saw her companion being devoured by three dead people infected with the new virus. This roar, in this film played a big role in it. In the pictures full of fiction, the real human nature and real emotions are roared, which injects the soul into the film. The heroine was shocked by this roar, and with her own willpower, she got rid of the computer control of the evil forces, went into battle again, and found their base.
There are also several small clips, some of them were infected, and when they were attacked by the group, one of them was able to escape quickly for the others, one stayed and fought hard, and later the heroine's good friend was infected. Later, before he mutated, he drove a large truck with a lot of explosives, rushed into the large group of polluted dead, attracted them, ignited the explosives, and opened up a way for the heroine and others to survive. After he lit the dynamite, he lit a cigarette and smiled calmly. That shot lasted a few seconds, and I was struck by the look in his eyes.
Originally, I wanted to say that this is a personal show movie, showing the powerful heroine, but after watching it, I can't tell. The heroine is indeed very powerful in the film, but she also has moments of weakness. When her good friend went to die, her tears condensed in the corner of her eyes. It makes people feel that she is a living person, not a strong person who has been shown.
In the end, because I watched the third part of "Life", I ran all night to find the DVD of the first and second parts, and after watching it, I watched the third part twice. The following repetition is purely to see the heroine. She is so beautiful, so perfect.
