At first, it was influenced by North American audiences, because SAW3's box office in North America was not satisfactory. The reason boils down to "disgusting".
After reading it, I really have this feeling. The level setting makes people feel unbearable even thinking about it.
With these, what the film wants to express is faded. Because what reverberated in my mind was that scene of "disgusting" pictures.
But after watching it, the director is actually quite good. There are still some things worth thinking about when we reminisce about the psychological struggles of the actors.
