Hmm [from Li Zongheng's film review]

1. This turned out to be Villeneuve's film after "Prisoner" and before "Border Slayer". When I watched it, I thought it was an earlier work. It reminded me of his short film about "eating". Minimalism, pure tension, and the full sense of formality of the audiovisual performance all make it look like a creative, ultra-low-budget independent film. 2. Several images of spiders are cold and deep, but because I have seen too many classic spider works by the old lady Bourgeois, I always feel that they are lacking in originality. 3. The little buddy played really well, as always. I've always liked the actress Pregnant Wife. 4. Continue to look forward to "Blade Runner 2049" in the appreciation of Villeneuve's previous work.
