It may be far from our understanding of religious movies

Actually, I didn't know much about this movie. Why, maybe because most of the Chinese are atheists, we can’t understand what kind of status God has in the hearts of believers, and we have no way of knowing the entanglement and confusion. As PK said in the film, people are in awe of God. When PK came to this new planet, he was confused, he didn't know where to go, he didn't know how to get home, he was lost at this time. He turned to God for help. I try to understand that the hearts of believers of God are probably similar. Each of us has experienced loss. At this time, it is the strong who have opened up a path with their own consciousness, while many people choose to follow God and choose to believe. This is actually a spiritual sustenance. On the way we are equivalent to an extra crutch. The purpose of the film is to say that the dependence and belief of the soul is okay, and that one can worship God but not superstitious. In life, there are too many people who use people's beliefs to make money and cheat, often with low cost and high income. The very subtle film also seems to convey a point of view that is moving closer to atheism. In fact, since religion is idealistic, why do so many people believe that if their devout prayers are ultimately disappointed, would they really not want to take out their offerings from the box in front of God like pk? Probably because I can't put myself in my shoes to understand it. The so-called angels in the film dialed the wrong phone number, without exception, isn't it because all the so-called angels are liars? Is there really anyone who can dial the correct number?

After talking about the big doubts, let's talk about a few movie-watching experiences. The first is that religion, gods and all non-real beings are indeed the products of human ideology. Because I wouldn't imagine a European-looking god speaking Indian, and Indians wouldn't imagine a Chinese-speaking alien. Although everyone knows this, it is often overlooked. People who believe in the afterlife, have you ever thought that you can communicate with God after seeing God in the past life? Or does he speak Chinese? It has never been possible to imagine that everyone will only want to say whether I can see the king of hell and whether I will see ghosts.

The love in the second video is not necessary. First of all, it is understandable to say that pk falls in love with Jiagu, but will he really have love for the highly intelligent species of other planets, is love really a must? For PK, the obsession that has supported him for so long--going home, making him go back home, begging for God, bewildered and collapsed, why can he be left behind in the short period of time he met Jiagu? I think this needs to be studied, maybe it's just for the drama and romance in the film. The second is that PK and Jiagu really won't be together. It's because it's inappropriate, pk doesn't like Jiagu reading poems, and at the beginning of the film we know that Jiagu's acquaintance and love have a lot to do with poetry. It's too easy to fall in love, but is it suitable for the person who falls in love, or the person you fall in love with? It's not that simple. Especially in Hollywood, and now Bollywood, love is not all movies, romance and eternity will appear anytime, anywhere, love at first sight, heroes save beauty, etc., we like to see it more often, and have not delved into it. . In fact, not every film has to show love, we should also try to accept it. At any time, love is only a part of life.

Third, is the death of the eldest brother in the film really necessary? It still has a little effect. The death of the eldest brother has led to twists and turns in proving the liar. PK needs to mention Shaplez and needs to be a lover. But these twists and turns may be incomprehensible to many of us in the peaceful age. I can't accept the terrorist attack. Why does a comedy popcorn movie increase the twists and turns in such an extreme way.

Fourth, at the end pk seems to have become an ordinary earthling. I didn't understand the purpose of this.

PK quotes

  • Jagat Janani: What is your name?

P.K.: I don't have any name. But i don't know why people called me PK... Pk...

  • P.K.: Which god should I believe? You all say that, it's only one god. I say, no... there are two gods. One is the one who created us all. The other one is the one created by people like you. We know nothing about the god who made us all. But the god people like you made is exactly like you... liar, pretend to act, giving false promises, meeting rich people sooner, letting the poor neglected, happy when get praised... People are afraid to even say a word. My right number is very simple, the God who created us all, put faith in Him. And the god like you created, the duplicate god, destroy it.
