Burton's Confessions Through Lugosi's Mouth

They don't want classic horror anymore.
Today it's all giant bugs, giant spiders, giant grasshoppers.
Who would believe such monsters?

(The old ones were much spookier, they had castles and full moons.)
They were mythic.
They had a poetry to them.
And you know what else?
The women.
The women prefer the traditional monsters.
The pure horror, it both repels and attracts them.
Because in their collective unconsciousness they have the agony of childbirth.
The blood, the blood is horror .
Take my word.
If you want to make out with a young lady,
you take her to see Dracula.

4.3 It feels right to watch the whole movie. I guess Lugosi made me a little uncomfortable. Maybe because of the character, it feels like pity for a person who is both respectful and pitiful. He said that women just love to watch horror movies. Women just love watching horror movies, which makes women secrete many beneficial cells

"Why don't you make a movie of your own dreams in your life?" Tim Burton said the truth through "the greatest director in history" Orson Welles. It is true that God has given Edwood his love and pursuit of film fanaticism, but he has not given him matching talents and talents. Although he has gone through ups and downs in the dream-chasing journey, his body is covered with bruises, but his spirit of persistent pursuit of dreams is worthy of praise.

Ed Wood quotes

  • Edward D. Wood, Jr.: [on phone with Mr. Feldman] Really? Worst film you ever saw. Well, my next one will be better. Hello. Hello.

  • Kathy O'Hara: Eddie's the only fella in town who doesn't pass judgment on people.

Edward D. Wood, Jr.: That's right. If I did, I wouldn't have any friends.
