“Worth a visit”

I just started writing this film review after reading it at home with pirated resources. Due to my poor English level, many of the stalks and details in the pure English unsubtitled version of the theater have been missed. I'm neither a DC fan nor a Marvel fan, so writing this review is purely from a passerby's point of view.

Overall, I quite like this new Suicide Squad. If you look at it with a less critical and less detailed eye, it's very pleasing as a popcorn movie. Because I am not a fan, I will not be disgusted by the interpretation of comic characters with too few scenes or biased in the movie. Maybe this is also the perspective of most ordinary viewers like me. At least for me, there are probably two aspects that pay the most attention to popcorn movies, one is the compactness and smoothness of the plot, and the other is the coolness of the whole process. It can be said that it is one of the most smooth and compact works in the past one or two years. After all, if you look at the living dead next door (laughs), it is all set off by peers. And there are enough cool points. When watching in theaters, it will be really pleasant to eat with popcorn and happy water. There are various camera movements, special effects, and some scenes that are nonsensical or even chaotic. Admit it, it's cool enough. As a popcorn movie, it is definitely above the standard. As for how much above the standard line, everyone has a steel scale in their hearts. I can give 90 points.

The overall style is similar to Deadpool, the R-class classification standard, bloody scenes are everywhere, and there are no examples of severed limbs and heads, etc. Some people don't like it, but it is also a normal physiological stress response, especially in the face of large-scale screens. . After all, people who are happy or excited but not disgusted by the bloody scenes probably have psychological problems or have a little bit of it (laughs x2) Aside from the normal stress response, this exaggerated way of expression is very clever, full of American-style black humor expresses the reflection and irony of various American behaviors, but the combination is unusually fitting and subtle. This part is a matter of opinion, because not everyone accepts this half-hidden black irony that they recognize and like.

The reversal at the beginning of the film's plot is really a surprise. Although there are some guesses, when the final guess turns into the result and appears in front of you, you will still be proud and surprised. The end is also interspersed with black humor and some American slang and memes, but it may be difficult for some people to get to that point. As for how the plot is not spoiled, the plot is reversed several times, the good and the evil are reversed and then reversed, and the messenger of justice turns into Satan in extreme circumstances to save the ideal land in his heart because of some extreme reasons or some obsessions. (That's right, it's the shotgun with the same name in apex.) What impresses me the most is the clip of Harley Quinn's slaughter and escape with a long gun after being interrogated and tortured. Or the art style is what I like, similar to the exaggerated technique of the ace secret agent, but there are many beautiful, unreal, and extremely prank-like special effects in the scenes that are clearly bloody, covering a lot of what should be. The bloody place is finally equipped with the rotation of the camera's perspective, from the front camera to a side long shot. When the camera is finally frozen, the scene of the clown fighting with the miscellaneous soldiers is like a warrior challenging Metroidvania. Ukiyo-e (game stalk, you can check it out if you are curious) general composition. The artistry of this passage is what I like, so I won't tell you what I want to express. I'm afraid that my own guesses and feelings will be biased. This kind of strong and extreme irony is what I like, and it even makes me feel beautiful. The pure violence is photographed with an unreal beauty like wearing a princess' coat, but if you think about it carefully, you will want to take off that coat and think about what's inside. After the violent aesthetics, it arouses the thinking and the beautification of the violence. Satire. It's a popcorn movie, but it's better than nothing, isn't it? As for other elements, there are quite a lot of elements, such as Oedipus, ethics, depression, hallucination, extreme justice, extreme self, empathy, racial discrimination, equality concept, etc., many shots and stalks are more or less related. Involving, but superficial, so I would define it as a popcorn movie. If you look at this work from different starting points, you will get different results. Since it is popcorn, there is no need to taste it as a state banquet, right? The emotional line between the mousetrap and the bloody movement in the play is very similar to Ellie and Joel in the first episode of Doomsday in the United States. The last magic weapon should be satisfactory to the audience who likes GE. No matter how satirical, metaphorical, black humor, the works themselves can make the audience happy to be a good popcorn work, and this also achieves the unity of words and deeds with the essence of the work. As Roll says he wants "one protagonist to die, one protagonist to survive". The second-generation mousetrap was originally going to die, but in the end, because the second-generation mousetrap was too cute, the dead character was replaced by Polkadot. "She was so cute, if she died I would think the movie was too dark. Of course that's not to say we don't like Polkadot. Anyway, in the end I couldn't let the second-generation mousetrap die, I gave in." I also agree. Sacrificing some of the sublimation and righteousness that they want for the audience, some people will think that this is too pleasing to the audience, but if this is what most audiences want, why not? Most people can't hate the ending at all. After all, it is understandable that everyone has a love for beauty and compassion. Because many films insist too much on the themes and concepts they want to express strongly, they may have profound ideas, but not necessarily most of the audience will pay the bills. To put it bluntly, no one likes a film that speaks to itself and is strongly paranoid, even if its The content is deep enough. (emphasis added, this is a popcorn movie, not Hachiko, a loyal dog) I have to say that the overall tone of the film, plus some fancy special effects, complements the ubiquitous black humor, which is very suitable for DC of darkness.

For me, my favorite character in the film is the mousetrap. The more I live in the so-called Modern city life, the more I feel how dazzling such pure kindness and sincerity are. The pure soul has a fatal attraction to me, even if it is false, but still willing to appreciate it. She is the character that best fits that person's original nature (I'm not a supporter of the theory of human nature), from the beginning to the end of the film, she is the only one who has never had any bad intentions to hurt others (if it is not a starfish-shaped alien) If it is a human, then you win), such a fictional character will be more cute when compared with the characters who have all kinds of evil thoughts due to various fates, reasons, and their own personalities under the trend of mission, but they are old-fashioned. effective. Of course, there is also the group pet shark king, which is really cute. One of the cute points of this film, its bloody scenes of choosing people and eating people and the usual cuteness will produce a strong sense of black humor, and the characters themselves tend to be wild from the beginning. , gradually grew, and finally was accepted as a member of the team, which is quite a Detroit-like ingenuity. This is also a point worth savoring.

Of course, there are still many unreasonable places in the plot, which are irrefutable. For example, the Polkadot man should be considered a plot kill, but with his ability to spray the starfish's eyes, it may directly be the end of the whole drama (laughs), etc. There are many places where the whole drama can be ended earlier, but I feel that I will struggle with these. Places are really meaningless, such as enriching the characters, the plot needs to be reversed, the characters need time for the audience to feel the growth and change, etc. Blabla can talk about it all day and night, which is a bit nitpicking in the popcorn. After all, nothing is perfect, believe me, even if you pick out one that is unreasonable, you can always pick out the next one that is unreasonable. After all, you are exploring rationality in a superpower work, just like in a strip club. Discussing high numbers with friends who go there is like talking about chickens and ducks. It is better to ignore these imperfections and try to relax and enjoy the pleasure of a popcorn movie. No one is perfect, and so is a movie. In this way, it is better to be tolerant and relaxed, I believe that no one will choose to appreciate the self-made high-rise buildings than the joy of happy water and popcorn.

As for the final complaint, I think it is very appropriate to quote a comment from a certain website. Anyway, the hidden value now is "I regard the film you applaud (blow) as a hot chicken, then my level of appreciation is higher than yours", so what's the point? When the movie comes out, especially the popcorn movie, it’s good to be stubborn and picky, so that I can be higher than the cloud~ After all, it’s understandable that the spirit of criticism is popular nowadays (laughs x3) Of course, I’m basically offended after I finish writing this. Yes, or I originally thought that I wrote this because it was just bad money to offend you. I'm really sorry, but you think I'm just bad money and look ugly. Welcome to Oakland event cinema offline PK.

Finally, I recommend two songs that have nothing to do with the movie, but may be related to what I want to express. One is Cui Jian's tolerance, and the other is Berhana's Lucky Strike in 2019. Cui Jian's tolerance believes that everyone who has heard it understands what I want to express, and Lucky Strike is because I recently clicked on the NetEase Cloud comment area of this song, and I looked at the comments and thought that Berhana really wanted to use tobacco and disco. When funk music expresses things, it seems to feel the real black humor, which is stronger than the movie. I am dying of laughter.

It can't be seen simply as a DC comic film: the revived "Cosmos Appears in Tokyo", "Chuck Loris" led the former commandos to fight a "Battle of Troma"! Sam Peckin's "earth-shattering head-scraping" fringe anti-hero shaped the American B-class war action icon that smashed the 1980s, Gunn finally returned to his "alma mater" after more than ten years of "running away", with "Poison Demon" (Pol Pointing people) and the "Kabuki knights" who set the line to bring the monsters and chaos in the world of "Torma" into the mainstream, which echoes the textual routine and expression core of this A-level IP blockbuster, allowing those Political issues that are "clichés" can be interspersed without abruptness. The ugliest evil can protect the purest goodness, the most cartoony wit can bear the cruelest anger, and always asks his mentor Lloyd Kaufman to guest-star in his big production Gunn, never losing his heart, At a time when Western entertainment blockbusters have become increasingly distorted and conservative, they have become the most wanton and light-hearted "junk movies" in the mainstream Hollywood production line. This is urgently needed and long-lost.
