I want to believe that I will meet you

I don't know why, but I suddenly remembered this movie.

It took almost three nights to watch a love movie from 25 years ago.

Hanks was young enough to pinch water, even though he was already the father of an 8-year-old boy. Sweet sister's iconic smile can instantly melt all the haze.

The story is simple, almost inconceivable with today's eyes. How many pigs had the heroine kicked her head, gave up her love for her good fiancé, and ran to the Empire State Building to meet an eight-year-old man who loved his ex-wife deeply?

it·s destiny.

More than two decades later, almost no one will do it again.

Because no one listens to the midnight talk show, no one cares about the father whose wife died, and if someone really dies, they may go looking for a new one tomorrow, only forgotten children, no fairy tales begin , and there will be no fairy tale ending.

That's why I like this movie.

Because we will never meet again.

If you don't encounter that magic feeling, you can't miss the past and stride forward; you can't encounter so much trust in intuition, and believe that there is another half of life.

Twenty-five years later, perhaps because our age is too realistic and lacks the courage to dream and the childlike innocence that believes in magic.

Favorite, men and women cry for different movies. It can be said that it is a gender difference, or it can be said that it is a time difference. In our day and age, there are no movies anymore, not to mention making men and women cry, it is hard to make children, kittens and dogs cry.

Very comfortable two hours, love you, two actors I like. Movies are dreams, and in those two hours, we went to an extraordinary world with strong beliefs, and it was beautiful.

Sleepless in Seattle quotes

  • Sam Baldwin: I'd much rather just see someone I like and get a feeling about them, and ask them if they want to have a drink.

Jonah Baldwin: Or a slice of pizza.

Sam Baldwin: Not dinner. Not necessarily on the first date, because halfway through dinner you could be really sorry you asked them to dinner. Whereas if it's just a drink, if you like them you can always ask them to dinner, but if not you can just say, "Well, that was great," and then you go home, if you see what I mean.

    [pause]

Sam Baldwin: I wonder if it still works this way.

Jonah Baldwin: It doesn't. They ask you.

Sam Baldwin: I'm starting to notice that.

  • [first lines]

Sam Baldwin: Mommy got sick. And it happened just like that. There's nothing anybody could do. It isn't fair. There's no reason. But if we start asking why, we'll go crazy.
