Lowell Bergman said a few paragraphs very well, copy and share:

In the western restaurant, the Russell and his wife left the table.
Mike:Who are these people?
AL:Ordinary people under extraordinary pressure,Mike. What the hell you expect, grace and consistency?

After Jeff getting on “the fucking phone”

J:You greased the rails.

AL:I greased the rails for a guy who wanted to say "yes". I helped him to say "yes". That's all. You're not a robot, Jeff. All right? You got a mind of your own, don't you?

J:" Up to you Jeffrey. That's the power you have, Jeffrey. Vital inside information the American public need to know. Lowell Bergman--the hotshot who never met a source he couldn't turn around."

AL:I fought for you, and I still fight for you!

J:You fought for me?You manipulated me...into where I am now--staring at the B&W building! It's all dark except the tenth floor. That's the legal department. That's where they fuck with my life.
… ....
AL: Jeffrey, where you going with this? So. where you going? You are...important...to a lot of people, Jeffrey. You think about that. You think about them. I'm running out of heroes, man.Guys like you are in short supply.

J:Yeah,guys like you too.Where are you,anyway?
AL:I'm on a leave of a absence.Forced vacation.

J:You try and have a good time.
AL: Yeah. Yeah, I will.

After taking the call, Lowell and Lady Blonde:
AL: I'm Lowell Bergman, I'm from 60 Minutes. You know, you take the 60 Minutes out of the sentence, nobody returns your phone calls. Maybe Wigand's right. Maybe I'm hooked. What am I hooked on? The rush of 60 Minutes?...

Lady: Really know what you're going to do before yo do it.

Always admired AL's performance, so powerful and so flamboyant.

The idea is actually very simple, two men have two clues, they have withstood their respective pressures, and they come from the threat of business invasion and the media's vain attempt to retreat. In addition, this film also gives people such a revelation: Don't do the things you hate, and do the things you admire to the end.

Watching this movie made me hate society and reality, but in the end I was moved to cry because of some ordinary scenes. Is it really useful for you to question the news, and the sacrifices made for it? Can it really bring about any change? The individual is really so small, unable to influence the outcome. The rules of society will always serve only those at the top. The result obtained after hard work and torture turned out to be very irrelevant, and it seemed to be a little sentimental

The Insider quotes

  • Lowell Bergman: I never left a source hang out to dry, ever! Abandoned! Not 'til right fucking now. When I came on this job, I came with my word intact. I'm gonna leave with my word intact. Fuck the rules of the game!

  • Lowell Bergman: I did not burn you. I did not give you up to anyone!

Jeffrey Wigand: This is my house... In front of my wife, my kids? What business do we have?

Lowell Bergman: To straighten something out with you. Right here. Right now.

Jeffrey Wigand: So, you didn't mention my name? You haven't talked to anybody about me?

Lowell Bergman: Why am I gonna mention your name?

Jeffrey Wigand: How did Brown & Williamson know I spoke to you...?

Lowell Bergman: How the hell do I know about Brown & Williamson?

Jeffrey Wigand: It happened after I talked to you. I do not like coincidences!

Lowell Bergman: And I don't like paranoid accusations! I'm a journalist. Think. Use your head. How do I operate as a journalist by screwing the people who could provide me with information before they provided me with it?

Jeffrey Wigand: [pauses] ... You came all the way down here to tell me that?
