[Jo reads a poem to Beth]
We could never have loved the earth so well
If we had no childhood in it
If it were not the earth where the same flowers comes up again every spring. That we used to gather with our tiny fingers
What novelty is worthy that sweet monotony. Where everything is known and loved because it is known
We would never have loved this land so deeply, if we hadn't spent our childhood here, if every spring the same flowers weren't blooming on this land.
We pick them with our little fingers, nothing new than sweet monotony, I love this kind of permanence because I know it~
【Sweet tea confession Jo】
I love u ever since I known u joy!
I couldn't help it.
[The last thing Jo said to her mother, she said she was lonely]
Jo:
Perhaps I was too quick in turning him down. I care more to be loved.
Mom:
That's not the same as loving
Jo:
I just feel like that
Woman, they have mind and they have souls as well as just hearts.
And they got ambitions and they've got talent as well as just beauty
And I am so sick of people saying that love is just all a woman is fit for
But I am so lonely
