May the dead rest in peace, may the disaster never repeat itself

On the night of April 20, 2010, the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico exploded and set off a fire, sinking into the Gulf of Mexico about 36 hours later, killing 11 workers. The oil spill was blocked after 87 days. An average of 12,000 to 100,000 barrels of crude oil leaked into the Gulf of Mexico every day, causing at least 2,500 square kilometers of seawater to be covered with oil. There are 6,104 birds, 609 turtles, and 100 mammals including dolphins. Animals died, and some species even went extinct. The above is the real background of the movie "Deep Sea Catastrophe". The movie is named after the explosion "Deepwater Horizon" (Deepwater Horizon), which truly reproduces the process of disaster and people's rescue. I think this is a movie everyone should watch! It's a pity that there are too few films in Chinese theaters. The film took about half an hour to introduce some terms, principles and safety hazards. While the director wanted to clarify the foreshadowing, he was eager to end these foreshadowings, so the fast speed caused me to listen to the principle twice and did not quite understand it, but From the beginning of the danger, to the blowout to the explosion to escape and rescue and mutual rescue, the film is truly restored. The representative of BP, who only recognized money and ignored safety, chose to escape only for himself, while some people chose to sacrifice their lives for more people. After everyone escaped to gather, the general person in charge of the platform began to call names. The names that would never be answered floated in the air. Everyone knelt down with heavy hearts and recited the prayers together. At the end of the film, there are real images of the survivors, and one of them said, "What they said would never happen, but it happened!" I remembered that a hundred years have passed since "Titanic", and life is still so fragile in the face of disaster. And human nature is always so arrogant and greedy! As a documentary disaster film, this movie is too realistic and too heavy! Of course the effect is also great! There are no disaster films in the strict sense in China. I think we should have good disaster films, because we need to be in awe of objective laws. I hope that in the future, someone will make an excellent disaster film about the explosion in Tianjin to comfort the deceased and wake up people.

The rhythm is too chaotic. All of the characters entered the stage of disaster before they had time to watch them (I didn't know Dylan played until the end). Interjection, special thanks to this piece for picking #mygirl #GinaRodriguez. I know the character is very small, and the reason for the choice is probably related to the ethnicity of the character itself? But I really hope that I can continue to have her in the future, she really has many possibilities.

This is a simple movie that focuses on several key periods before, after, and after the disaster. The script does not need to take care of the earth and criticize the so-called capitalist system, but to take care of the people who died and survived the disaster. On the one hand, it meets the needs of commercial films, and on the other hand, it sets up a memorial for all parties involved. If you do these two points well, you will meet the standard, so I just want to see when the Tianjin explosion can be filmed like this.

Mike Williams: Mm, I don't know what part of that is more terrifying.

Felicia: Listen to me. Listen to me. I would move... and then it would mimic everything I was doing.
