As far as the viewing effect is concerned, the visual impact is sufficient, and it can be considered thrilling to fight and kill. It can be said that it is a good popcorn blockbuster. However, in terms of content and plot, the jump span is a bit large, and it is a bit contradictory if it is carefully rectified in logic. It's like the villain tried his best to lead the behemoth into the city, but he didn't consider the consequences, and finally put himself in. However, although this movie has the label of a disaster movie, I don't think the director's purpose is to bring enlightenment, but to give the audience a good viewing experience.
Dwayne Johnson is still very good, from the lighthearted and humorous joke at the beginning to the calmness and composure in the face of the behemoth, the movements and expressions are all in place. Interacting with gorillas is also quite fun.
